Lively fruit flavours with a hint of spice: lemon cream, ginger, white nectarine, and cloves. Rich lemon custard and ginger on the palate with a voluptuous mouthfeel.
Early Spring brought us cooler temperatures with above average precipitation. Late Spring became very warm resulting in an earlier than usual bud break. Good weather continued until Late Summer where it started to cool off earlier than usual. October and early November weather held strong and we were able to keep our late ripening reds on the vine long enough to pick up some nice fl avours. Pinot Noir, Riesling, and Chardonnay grew exceptionally well and should be standouts for the 2018 vintage. Expect our new Legacy Pinot Gris to also show extremely well!
A blend of three different blocks at our Thomas Ranch Vineyard in Okanagan Falls (J, O and P). This oft overlooked Vineyard churns out World Class Pinot Gris along with some other cool climate varietals. O and P blocks were pressed into barrel, fermented and aged “sur lie” for 8 months. J block was fermented and stored in stainless steel to capture some rich fruitiness to go along with the oak-derived characteristics of the other two blocks.
