A complex, well-rounded wine with notes of ripe dark cherries and black pepper on the nose and the palate. The bold flavours are supported by both a firm tannin and a smooth and lengthy finish. Great for pairing with braised or grilled meats such as rib-eye, beef tenderloin or lamb and sharp aged cheeses.
Full aromas of dark berries, cherries, and semi-sweet chocolate, with a gentle aroma of toasted oak. The palate is rich with flavours of dark berries, ripe cherries, black forest cake, and some mocha on the finish. The tannins are medium and the acidity is soft with a long finish.
