Jackson-Triggs 2018 Grand Reserve Riesling
Brought into the winery in late October, we were blessed with many blocks of Riesling which displayed excellent characteristics so we decided to blend them together in order to get the very best example of Okanagan Riesling we could muster. Fermented and stored in stainless steel tank, fermentation was halted so just the right amount of residual sugar remained.
Just on the cusp of being off-dry, this wine displays an excellent mix of fresh acidity and delicate sweetness. An aromatic bouquet of apple, ginger, and pear with flavours of ginger, apple, and lime with a touch of minerality.
Food Pairing Notes
Biryani, grilled tilapia with mango salsa, Thai lemongrass and ginger soup, and foie gras. Blue cheese, feta, and chevre.
