Tasting Notes
This wine displays beautiful red-violet in colour with intense ripe berry aromas on the nose complemented by hints of spicy oak. On the palate it has a great concentration of red fruits; cherry and prune. This is a rich, full bodied wine with a long smooth finish.
Food Pairing Notes
Try this wine with a variety of smoked, braised or grilled meats such as lamb, beef or game meats. Barbeque ribs, or a sweet and spicy pulled pork would also complement the flavours in this wine beautifully. Strong flavoured, hard cheeses are also a perfect match.
