Get in the Halloween spirit with a super-scary Witches’ Brew Black Sangria that will cast a spell on you and your guests. For full-on fright, don’t skip the pomegranate seed garnish and the candied “blood” rim.
Ingredients
- 1 cup tart cherry juice (divided)
- 1/2 cup pomegranate juice
- 1 bottle of red wine
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 3 cups ginger beer
- 2 tbsps honey
- 1/2 cup pomegranate seeds, for garnish
Directions
Combine 1/2 a cup of cherry juice, pomegranate juice, red wine, orange juice and ginger beer in a pitcher. Stir to combine.
Combine remaining cherry juice and honey in a pot, simmer for 15 minutes over low heat until thickened. Let cool.
Dip each glass into cooled cherry juice and honey mixture and let drip down the sides of each glass. Fill the glass with the sangria mixture and top with pomegranate seeds. Enjoy!
