Ingredients
- 2 hot dogs buns
- 2 tbsps softened butter
- 1 cup lobster meat
- 1/2 cup celery, finely diced
- 1/2 cup fennel, finely diced
- 8 cherry tomatoes, quartered
- 4 large leaves of bibb lettuce
- 2 green onions, finely sliced
- 2 tbsps fresh dill, chopped
- 2 tsps lemon juice
- 4 tbsps "real" mayonnaise
- salt and pepper Edit
Directions
Slice the sides off of the buns to give you a flat surface. Brush the cut outside surfaces with butter and toast in a pan over medium heat. Line the toasted buns with bibb lettuce. Toss remaining ingredients in a bowl and season with salt and pepper to taste. Spoon onto lettuce lined buns.
Serve with an oak aged Chardonnay and enjoy!
