Vintage Ink Rebel Red
Aromas of ripe plums, dark blackberries, vanilla, and mocha. The palate is full of ripe dark fruits and hints of spice with a rich undertone of smokey vanilla oak. It has smooth tannins and a long finish.
The grapes were fermented in stainless steel tanks for 10 days, during which they were pumped over twice daily to extract colour, flavour, and tannin. The wine was pressed off the skins and aged with a blend of French and American oak before being blended and bottled.
Food Pairing Notes
Great with everyday fare, from burgers to spaghetti, meatloaf, and roasts. It is also delicious with a smoked Gouda or an aged Parmesan/Asiago and some salami.
