Thirty-threeyears ago, it was home to just 17 wineries, while today, thatnumber has passed the 300 mark.The lakeside region sits sheltered by a mountain range withits 240-km length delivering varied climate conditions from cooland wet in the north to drier and warmer in the south. Okanagan reds (Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir) are renowned for their rich, full-bodied character, ripe fruit flavors and tannins.
