  • 3 cups vine ripe tomatoes, finely diced
  • 1/3 cup red onion, very finely diced
  • 2 tbsps jalapeno pepper, very finely diced
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsps olive oil
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 3 tbsps cilantro, roughly chopped
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper

In a medium sized mixing bowl combine all ingredients and mix well. This recipe makes approximately 3.5 cups of salsa and will keep in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. 

Pair a spicy salsa with a crisp and refreshing off dry Riesling or Gewurztraminer.
