See Ya Later Ranch wines were created in honour of the vineyards’ heritage and one of the vineyard site’s first inhabitants, Major Hugh Fraser. The Major came to the Okanagan after a refined upbringing in Eastern Canada and time spent as a prisoner during the First World War. His many dogs were given free run of the ranch and were ultimately laid to rest in a doggy cemetery that still exists at the winery today. The Major became a favourite among the locals, due to his kind nature, lavish parties and his love of dogs. It is this legacy that has inspired us to create a casual and fun atmosphere centered on seriously great wines.
We invite you to join us at our Hawthorn Mountain site to share in our passion for exceptional wine, food and man’s best friend as you take in the breathtaking vista of the Okanagan Valley overlooking Skaha Lake. We are pleased to offer an array of customized winery tours, tastings, lunches and dinner experiences for groups that showcase our unique series of wines paired with locally inspired food.
